Huntley's Clara Hudgens was unsure if she would continue playing softball at the next level after the Red Raiders' season ended in June. Hudgens recently announced her commitment to NCAA Division I Coastal Carolina. "I’m just really excited to start again."
Cara Neff dreamed of running her own softball program when she interviewed for a teaching position at Cary-Grove five years ago. Neff, a 2011 Wauconda graduate, was officially hired as the Trojans varsity coach last month.
