Fourth-year head coach Scott Payne led the Amboy-LaMoille-Ohio Clippers to the I8FA state championship this season. He has been named the Sauk Valley Media Football Coach of the Year.

The Amboy co-op football team won the Illinois 8-Man Football Association state championship Friday, and players from LaMoille and Ohio made up about a third of the roster that helped the Clippers to their first title since 1984.
